Join Mirka Hokkanen as she demonstrates her negative painting technique, involving chance and elements of play to reveal glowing surfaces. Learn how to make the best of happy accidents and how to paint in layers to create depth and light in paintings.
This workshop is for beginner to intermediate watercolour painters interested in letting loose and learning a new technique in watercolour. You will be provided with a sketch of the painting Mirka will be working on in class. And as you all work on it, step by step, you will be able to ask questions of Mirka.
