The First Post!

Posted by Darren Yeow on

Hi there art fellow!

If you're reading this, you probably clicked the link from your pre-order confirmation eager to see what this blog updating stuff is all about.

As you may or may not know, the Nomad was originally conceived as a Kickstarter project, with the original run of Nomads successfully delivered earlier this year.

What I found during that process was that one of the most powerful tools at my disposal was the update section in Kickstarter where people were able to both read updates and to comment.

And so this blog has been created specifically to replicate that Kickstarter update experience and to allow dialogue to develop between us and our lovely customers.

Once again, thank you for your trust and support, it means the world to us and we look forward to nurturing that relationship.

If you have anything you wanted to post, feel free to do so below :)

  • Joni: We’re glad to hear that! Taking candy from a baby is pretty easy, but the guilt is too much (for me). With Etchr, no guilt. :)

  • Thanks so much for the order Rich, and no problems about the reply – believe me, I really, really, really want to do a Companion version as I have one myself, but I have to be careful due to limited resources as you’d imagine. I hope you love the Nomad when it lands in your and your twins’ hands and that it helps you guys to get out more as an art family!

    Thanks, Daz

  • I just ordered one for myself and one for each of my twins. Really excited to get these. :) Thanks for the prompt reply regarding the Cintiq Companion angle not happening for this run. It made my order that much easier to make.

  • Reading this makes my deincsois easier than taking candy from a baby.
